After an injury or illness that requires rehabilitation, it can be difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Many people imagine the life they had before was gone, and that they will no longer be able to participate in or enjoy the things they once loved. But as everyone at Magee knows, that is simply not true. At Magee, our motto is Believe in a Way Back – and all our patients and former patients are examples of this motto in action.
Magee invites all patients and former patients to share photos of themselves engaging in activities they never thought they would be able to do again after their illness or injury. Examples could include playing with children or grandchildren, traveling, participating in hobbies or sports, enjoying a favorite meal – anything that demonstrates how you are living proof that you can Believe in a Way Back.
All photos can be submitted using the form here. All submissions must be received no later than June 30, 2013 to be eligible. All photos that meet criteria will be posted into an album on Magee’s Facebook page for voting. The winner will receive a swag bag of Team Magee items, and will be interviewed and spotlighted for a feature in Magee’s bi-annual print magazine Can Do!
