Every year we have a ton of great events going on inside and outside of Magee. Be sure to mark your calendar for these great events in 2017:
The ATF Recognition Dinner
When: March 29th, 2017
Where: Tanstock Country Club
The Adam Taliaferro Foundation Recognition Dinner is an Awards banquet honoring those who have contributed to the foundation and represent their mission.
4th Walk It Out
When: Friday-Saturday April 7-8, 2017
Where: Magee Riverfront
Former patients, family, friends, and staff united to keep a treadmill running for 24 hours straight from 4 P.M. on Friday, April 7 to 4 P.M. on Saturday, April 8. The reason? To benefit people living with paralysis or other disabilities. All proceeds from the fundraiser go toward the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation’s NeuroRecovery Network and Magee’s Locomotor Training Clinic to continue progressing treatment and research for people with spinal cord injuries.

Penns Landing Caterers
The Night of Champions fundraiser is a Dinner and Auction that raises money for Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation patient and community programs.
Broad Street Run
Sunday, May 7, 2017
A landmark Philadelphia race that helps raise money for community organizations like Magee. Magee runners pledge to fundraise a minimum of $300 to benefit the wheelchair sports program.

28th Jerry Segal Classic
When:Friday, September 15, 2017
Where: Green Valley Country Club /The ACE Club
The Jerry Segal Classic has raised more than $14 Million in 27 years to benefit the patients of Magee Rehabilitation Hospital. The Friends of Jerry Segal support numerous programs and services for individuals with disabilities. Whether helping a patient purchase a wheelchair, providing funds to help patients as they return to their family, friends, and jobs, or funding community initiatives such as Magee’s peer support programs, the Jerry Segal Classic has touched the lives of thousands of individuals.
6th Art Heals Event
When: October 10th, 2017
Where: PAFA
The Art Heals Event is a cocktail party to celebrate, support, and raise awareness for Magee’s Art Therapy program and present the Daren Dieter Excellence in Art Award.
7th Adam Taliaferro Foundation & Magee Rehabilitation Golf Outing
When: Monday, October 16, 2017
Where: Green Valley Country Club
Proceeds benefit spinal cord injury research, rehabilitation, and quality of life programs supported by the Adam Taliaferro Foundation and Magee Rehabilitation Hospital.
30th Humanitarian Award Dinner
When: Tuesday, November 14, 2017
Where: The Logan Hotel
The Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Humanitarian Award recognizes those who contribute positively to the role of healthcare and/or the lives of individuals with disabilities in the Philadelphia region
