Have you thanked a volunteer today? At Magee, we have over 250 volunteers who devote their time and talents to serve our patients at our hospital and outpatient locations, and who serve on our hospital board and foundation board and committees. Magee could not do all we do, without the help of our wonderful volunteers.
During National Volunteer Appreciation Week, Magee celebrated our volunteers on Tuesday, April 9, with an appreciation carnival celebration on our 6th-floor rooftop. Guests played carnival games for prizes and enjoyed dinner prepared by Magee’s dining services staff featuring carnival treats, including funnel cake.
Magee’s volunteers work in many areas of the hospital, helping to shape the patient experience and deliver excellent care to our patients and families.
