Walk This Way: Join Team Magee at the MS Walk

Walk MS is a charity walk series held by the National MS Society with one goal: to end multiple sclerosis (MS) forever. MS is a disease of the central nervous system with no known cause or cure. Ending MS for good will take all of us. That’s why Walk MS matters so much. And it’s why you matter so much. Walk MS helps us team up with friends, loved ones, and co-workers to change the world for everyone affected by MS.

The week of January 11th is our National Team Captain Recruitment week. We want to recognize the team captain at Magee Rehabilitation, Mary Clare Schafer, for all of her hard work and dedication.

“Magee is happy to be able to participate again in supporting the MS Society by having a team at the Walk MS events this spring,” says Mary Clare, the MS Healthy Living Program Director at Magee. “Magee is committed to being an ongoing part of the effort to improve the quality of life for those individuals living with MS.”

When you participate in Walk MS, you are working to ensure that no one ever has to be diagnosed again. Together, we become a powerful force. Together, we will end MS forever.

You can join Team Magee at one or both of the following Walk MS events: Philadelphia Museum of Art on Saturday, April 30 or Washington Lake Park in Sewell, NJ on Sunday, May 1.

Register for Team Magee today: Philadelphia Museum of Art or Washington Lake Park.
