Support Wheelchair Tennis This Weekend

There are two great opportunities to support Magee’s Wheelchair Tennis Program happening in the next few days! This weekend, you can cheer on Magee’s Wheelchair Tennis athletes at the Magee Wheelchair Tennis Tournament August 11-13 at Cherry Hill Racquet Club. Then on Monday, August 14, there are still spots left for the Magee Annual Tennis Event at Germantown Cricket Club, to raise money for Magee’s important program for wheelchair tennis athletes.

This year’s Magee wheelchair tennis tournament will feature 19 players from around the country. All players will participate in both singles and doubles throughout the weekend.

Matches will take place:
Friday 8/11, 4 pm – 9 pm
Saturday 8/12, 8 am – 5 pm
Sunday 8/13, 8 am – 2 pm

The event is free, and both children and adults are welcome to attend.

Monday, August 14 is your opportunity to play tennis on the beautiful grass courts of Germantown Cricket Club and support Magee’s Wheelchair Tennis Program! Participate in an afternoon of tennis followed by hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and raffles. Engage in friendly competition in round robin doubles format. A partner is not required to participate. Women and men of all ages and levels of play are welcome! Tickets start at $200, and all proceeds benefit Magee’s Wheelchair Tennis Program. Magee’s Wheelchair Sports Programs heighten independence and improve quality-of-life. Getting involved with Magee’s sports programs helps people with disabilities reach for personal health and wellness goals.
