Comcast Cares Day 2016 at Magee

Magee once again hosted Comcast Cares Day on April 30, 2016.  Members of the Employee Resource Group, My Abilities and the Community Investment team, along with family and friends of staff members worked during the morning on planting and administrative projects.  Projects included a demo of the Assistive Technology suite and the AYA Room (Adolescent/Young Adult Room).

Comcast Cares Day is a celebration of Comcast’s year-round commitment to service, and has grown to become the nation’s largest single-day corporate volunteer event. In 2015, more than 100,000 volunteers improved more than 900 parks, schools, beaches, senior centers and other vital community sites. Since 2001, more than 700,000 Comcast NBCUniversal employees, their friends, family members, and community partners have volunteered more than 4 million service hours at nearly 6,800 projects in communities across the United States and around the world.

Our sincerest thanks go out to all the Comcast staff, family and friends who helped to beautify Magee!
