Gary Shellenberger finally went home on June 24 and its reason to celebrate! Gary was diagnosed with COVID-19 in March, spent six weeks in an acute care hospital and discharged from Magee after seven weeks of rehab. COVID can take an enormous toll on the body. For many, the road to recovery is very long and hard, requiring extensive physical rehab. Magee created a special COVID program with a dedicated team to help these patients get their strength back and return home to their families.
